Under the auspices of the EU4Energy Program, the Sustainable Energy Week (SEW) is organized, in the period of 4 to 8 June, 2018.

Ms. Diana Harutyunyan, UNDP Climate Change Programme Coordinator attended the “Sustainable Energy Coming to Aparan” Exhibition, launching the SEW in Aparan on 4 June, 2018.

In the frames of SEW, together with the Union of Communities of Armenia and Foundation to Save Energy, “2nd Forum of Energy Efficient Municipalities: Sustainable Energy Development Prospects in Armenian Communities” took place. Ms. D. Harutyunyan and Mr. Vahram Jalalyan, “De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits” UNDP-GCF Project Manager and the project experts participated in the forum, held at Elite Plaza Business Center on 6 June, 2018.

Ms. D. Harutyunyan expressed her thoughts in the session of “Development prospects for Sustainable Energy Development: Legal-Regulatory Gaps, Needs for Mediation, Local Energy Action”. And Mr. V. Jalalyan shared his views on “Institutional and Technical Capacities” session.

Afterwards, all of them participated in discussions.
