Companies Involved in Emissions Trading
The following page provides information on those companies which are involved in emissions trading business and offer various services under the Kyoto Protocol's market-based mechanisms.
The offered services may include: (i) identification of projects and evaluation of their GHG emissions reduction potential; (ii) development of Project Idea Notes (PIN) and Project Design Documents (PDD) in accordance with CDM and JI modalities and procedures; (iii) development of new methodologies under the Kyoto mechanisms; (iv) procedural support in projects validation, host country approval, registration, verification and further issuance of CERs/ERUs; (v) assistance in project finance and identification of potential CERs/ERUs buyers; (iv) acquisition of CERs/ERUs and VERs from project developers.
