Approaches to Vulnerability/Adaptation Assessment
The training was organized in the framework of UNDP/ GEF "Enabling Activities for the Preparation of Armenia's Second National Communication to the UNFCCC" Project on July 27, 2007. It was attended by representatives from stakeholder organizations, Ministry of Nature Protection of RA, and project experts.
The training aimed at introduction of general principles and tools for preparation of Second National Communication, particularly it's Vulnerability&Adaptation section, while highlighting, at the same time, some general principles and approaches to the assessment of possible consequences of climate change. Several scenarios and models of possible consequences of climate change were presented.
