AUA in partnership with the “Improving Energy Efficiency in Buildings” UNDP-GEF project offerred a one week summer course on solar architecture. The course was for young practitioners and students in architecture and engineering who spent an intensive week learning about passive and active solar solutions in building design. The active solutions discussed include solar PV panels, solar thermal panels, integrated PV, hybrid systems, and solar paint. The passive solutions include building orientation, shading, daylighting, cool roofs, green roofs, and green walls.

The course was delivered in a mix of Armenian and English languages (as reflected in the materials below).
