GHG National Inventory
The training was organized in the framework of UNDP/ GEF "Enabling Activities for the Preparation of Armenia's Second National Communication to the UNFCCC" Project on June 22, 2007. It was attended by representatives from stakeholder organizations, Ministry of Nature Protection of RA, Energy Strategy Center under Scientific Research Institute of Energy of Armenia, and National Academy of Science as well as project experts.
The training aimed at introduction of general principles and tools for development of national GHG inventory under the second national communication to UNFCCC. Given the fact that the largest share of CO2 emissions in the Republic is released from energy activities, specific attention was paid to GHG inventory in energy sector.
