Initial Results of GHG National Inventory Forest Sector Assessment (15/10/2008)
The working meeting was organized in the framework of UNDP/GEF "Enabling Activities for the Preparation of Armenia's Second National Communication to the UNFCCC" Project on October 15, 2008. It was attended by representatives from stakeholder organizations, Ministry of Nature Protection of RA, Ministry of Agriculture of RA, "ArmForest" SNCO, Real Estate Cadastre Committee, National Academy of Science as well as project experts.
The working meeting aimed at discussion on the initial results of the greenhouse gas (GHG) national inventory forest sector assessment under the second national communication to UNFCCC. Given the fact that Forestry Sector of the National Inventory is one of the most important ones, specific attention was paid to GHG inventory in forest sector.
