On May 26, 2013, the first joint monitoring visit to the pilot tree planting site located in Akhtala community of RA Lori marz was organized by UNDP-GEF “Enabling Activities for the Preparation of Armenia’s Third National Communication to the UNFCCC” and EU “Waste Governance – ENPI East” projects.

The Steering Committee and Inception Meeting of the “Enabling Activities for the Preparation of Armenia’s Third National Communication to the UNFCCC” UNDP/GEF Project was conducted on December 20, 2011. The event was attended by the Steering Committee members and corresponding stakeholder national and international organizations.
