Seminar on Environmental Issues
The seminar on Environmantal Issues was organized on September 29, 2007 by the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia and Charentsavan municipality in the framework of cooperation with state management and local self-government bodies, with the financial support from UNDP in Armenia. The event was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Charentsavan city.
The seminar aimed at introduction of general environmental issues, including protection of the ozone layer, efficient management of hazardous substances and wastes, specially protected areas, etc. A video-film on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate change issues and an animation film on the ozone layer protection were shown.
