“Energy Efficiency Forum” was organized during “6th Ministerial Conference on Environment and Development in Asia and the Pacific” in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan on September 27 to 30, 2010. Within the Conference, on September 30, 2010, a round-table was held on “Improving the Energy Efficiency: the role of UNDP-GEF projects: experience and lessons learned”.
The Project experts took part in “Regional cooperation in the field of energy efficiency” seminar organized by Kazakhstan UNDP/GEF “Removing Barriers to Energy Efficiency in Municipal Heat and Hot Water Supply” project on May 30, 2009. CIS countries’ experience in implementing projects on improvement of energy efficiency in heat supply sector was presented and discussed.
