Project Objective: |
The project is intended to reduce methane emissions from valves installed at gas pressure reduction stations as well as from stand alone valves installed in gas distribution network of the Republic of Armenia. |
Project Description: |
As part of the project, all gas regulator stations will be inspected for leaks from all standardized components (valves) with stem packing. Any leaks will be detected using catalytic oxidation/thermal conductivity detectors as well as measures, recorded and repaired using Gore-Tex joint sealant. The valves with stem packing will be repaired regardless whether leaks are detected or not. |
