During the second part of the second session of The Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP), from 4-13 June 2013 in Bonn, Germany, Armenia came up with the following Statement, on behalf of the mountainous landlocked developing countries (Armenia, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan) Group. The first part of the second session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP 2.1) was held at the World Conference Center Bonn, Germany from 29 Apr - 3 May 2013.
Konrad Adenauer Stiftung foundation and Regional Environmental Center for the Caucasus jointly organized “South Caucasus Energy Forum” on approaches to improving energy efficiency and enhance use of renewable energy in the energy sector of South Caucasus. The expert meeting on technology roadmaps of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Technology Executive Committee (TEC) took place on 25 March 2013 in Bonn, Germany. The meeting, which was organized by the TEC under the umbrella of its work, focused on technologies for adaptation to climate change. It was attended by 34 participants, including members of the TEC, representatives of other UNFCCC bodies, technical experts and the UNFCCC Secretariat.
The first RCC was established in January 2013 in Lomé, Togo, in collaboration with the Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement (BOAD). Soon afterwards, the UNFCCC secretariat signed a partnership agreement with the East African Development Bank (EADB) to establish another RCC in Kampala, Uganda.
