Application of thermostatic equipment produced by "Danfoss" Company 2006-12-20

Application of thermostatic equipment produced by "Danfoss" Company in heat supply systems and presentation the new version of the software "DANFOSS C.O." 3.5.
The training was organized by the UNDP/GEF heating project, "Danfoss" A/S and "Yerevan Project Institute". It was aimed at presentation of thermostatic equipment (thermostatic valves and automatic regulators) produced by "Danfoss" Company. The participants discussed the international, particularly the Russian experience in application of the equipment produced by "Danfoss" A/S Company, the specifics of their design and installation.
The representative of the mentioned company, Mr. Alexander Klimovich, introduced the participants the new version of the software "DANFOSS C.O." 3.5, by providing certain demonstrative examples. The participants of the training were distributed booklets and CDs containing the software package.
It was agreed to calculate the heat network of a sample building in Avan district by using the "DANFOSS C.O. 3.5" software and compare the results with the previously calculated option.
It was also agreed to organize follow-up meetings/trainings, if necessary, to make appropriate clarifications in case any issues arise during the software application.
It was agreed also to propose the Yerevan State Engineering University to include the "DANFOSS C.O. 3.5" software trainings in the curricula of the University.
