Biodiversity Strategy for the Republic of Armenia

The project works in Armenia since 1997, when the project "First National Report, Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan to CBD" was implemented. In 1999, the combined work of 8 groups of specialists resulted in a "First National Report on Biodiversity of Armenia" and a "Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan", which were prepared in line with CBD guidelines and the priority development goals of Armenia.
The aim of the Biodiversity Strategy is:
To ensure the conservation, sustainable use and regeneration of landscape and biological diversity of the Republic of Armenia, for sustainable human development
