The workshop was attended by representatives from the Ministries of Nature Protection, Agriculture, Trade and Economy Development, Energy, Urban Development, Education and Science, Finance and Economy, National Service on Statistics, RA Government, Regional Administration and Local Self Governing Department of RA Government, Department of Emergency Situations, State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre Under RA Government, Project Steering Committee, UNDP, National Academy of Sciences, higher educational establishments, scientific and research institutions, international organizations, NGOs and private sector.
An opening speech was made by the First Deputy Minister of Nature Protection, Mr. S. Papyan. After the reports envisaged by the agenda the participants were grouped into two working groups for discussions.
As a result of the discussions certain recommendations were made, which will later be incorporated into the Action Plan.
