YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26. ARMINFO. The results of the contest for the
reports of the participants of the training seminar "The way to the
international scientific cooperation" were summed up. The seminar was
organized by the NGO BioEcoMed through the assistance of the Project
UNDP/GEF. 
On the results of the contest Anna Nalbandian was awarded with the
prize of the general sponsor UNDP/GEF for the report on ecology.
Shagane Arsenian was awarded with the prices of the physical
institute for the report "Research of absorptive properties of
natural zeolite of Armenia". Hasmik Mkrtchian was awarded with the
prize of the organizers of the contest for the report "Application of
the method FISH for studies of chromosome anomalies at leucosis". All
the members of jury stressed the high level of knowledge of all the
participants of the contest. They also highly assessed the level of
organization of the contest and the active participation of the young
scientists from the regions of Armenia. 
Representative of the organization "BioEcoMed" Karine Minasian
informed that not only the scientific researches of the participants
of the contest in the sphere of ecology, physics, biomedicine and
other sectors of the science were presented in the reports, but also
views for further development of the science in the country. The main
goal of holding the contest was to assist integration of young
scientists, in particular, women into the international society. She
also added that the organization implements a number of program aimed
at removal of discrimination of the women in the science.
