Heat and Hot Water Supply
UNDP/GEF/ARM/98/G41/A/1G/99
This project aims
to respond to the objectives of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change,
corresponding to the strategy mentioned in the first national communication
of Armenia. At the same time, the project is a logical continuation of the
"Armenia - Country Study on Climate Change" UNDP/GEF ARM/95/G31/A/1G/99

PDF activities described here is to remove barriers to, and to leverage
additional financial resources for improving the energy efficiency of municipal
heat and hot water supply in Armenia, thereby lowering the overall fossil
fuel consumption and the associated greenhouse gas emissions. The initial
focus of the project will be on the municipal heat and hot water supply
in the city of Yerevan, after which the results can be disseminated
